Commercial Heritage Renovation

These clients sought to modernize their newly acquired commercial space to accommodate a growing midwifery practice while integrating on-site ancillary treatment services. Their goal was to preserve the historical charm of the 130-year-old heritage building while staying within a defined budget. With a strict four-month timeline, we completed this renovation, ensuring the space was fully prepared for their year-end move.

Scope of work

• Flooring Upgrade

  Removed several thousand square feet of carpet and installed luxury vinyl plank (LVP), selected for its durability in clinical settings and compliance with hygiene standards.

• Heritage Preservation & Finishing

  Repaired and repainted lath and plaster walls, restoring the original craftsman trim-work to maintain the building’s character.

• Utilities Modernization

  Upgraded all knob-and-tube wiring to meet current electrical codes and installed modern lighting and bath fixtures.
